Art of Entrepreneurship was an exploratory elective that intensified my interest in entrepreneurship. The course combined my passions, art and entrepreneurship, in a series of sprints to conceptualize companies and products that promote civic change. One such sprint challenged students to create a boba business based on supporting endangered species. My company, Kaimana Kafe, was an organic tea cafe with a mission to donate a portion of profits to Hawaiian wildlife conservatories. After designing a logo and brand identity for my mock business, I discovered a new interest of mine that would become an essential aspect of my business. This course would also introduce me to my first client, Hawaii Fi-Do.
